Continuing Education
In June 2007, new legislation passed through the Kentucky legislature which affects all Kentucky professional engineers.  If you are a professional engineer in Kentucky, you will be required to obtain continuing eduction credits to renew your license every two years.  The regulation would require 30 hours of continuing education in the two calendar years preceeding the June 30 renewal.  Click here for a downloadable PDF with this information.

The good news for you is that KYSITE is working hard to provide opportunities for you to meet these requirements.  For instance, our Spring Meeting will earn you 1.5 credits!!

In addition to our quarterly meetings, we are identifying web seminars and other training opportunties which will count for this requirement.

Please contact us if you have any suggestions for training or other continuing education opportunties.

More information can be found on the Kentucky Board of Engineers and Land Surveyors website.
